A recent convert to GOSH makeup (originally from Denmark, available at Superdrug stores), I was recommended this eyeliner by someone I work with after I asked her how she managed to keep her eyeliner perfect throughout a shift. Whenever I use black eyeliner it seems to smudge everywhere and make me look like I haven’t slept for three days. I love Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliners but the black shade Zero has, well, zero staying power. Which is why this one is such a blessing!
It’s not as smooth to apply as UD’s 24/7 liners – I have yet to find another eyeliner that even comes close to that – but the staying power is amazing. It’s waterproof, but comes off easily with makeup remover; and most importantly, it barely smudges. I popped into Superdrug yesterday to have a look at the other colours in the range, swatched them on my hand and this morning (after copious handwashing) you can still see them. Very impressive for a drugstore brand. It’s just a shame they don’t have as amazing a colour range as Urban Decay do – although there are some nice colours such as a bright lime green.
This is comparable to UD 24/7 liner in Perversion – and less than half the price!
GOSH Velvet Touch waterproof eyeliner is available from Superdrug for £4.99.
